Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark have a combined estimated net worth of roughly $40 million (google it). When will people wake up and realize the rich are pushing the same liberal agenda. Them pushing the liberal propaganda is par for the course. If they truly cared about LA, they wouldn’t push for the same democratic regime that ruined LA and California. Spencer Pratt for mayor of LA!!
I miss the days when the hosts seemed more in touch with their stories. Now it feels very obvious that the stories are researched, written and edited by others, and the hosts simply read off the page.
I have been a long-time listener, fan and supporter of this podcast. I’ve listened since the days of recording in Georgia’s old apartment, before getting a new place with Vince. I went to the first tour. This podcast has seen me through countless major life changes. I was so thoroughly disappoint... more
I’ve been listening since episode 4, have seen you live in my current city twice and don’t have any right to complain, but here I am writing a review because its hard to escape the fact that you’ve lost the plot. The feel good stories about courageous women forgotten to history are so important, but those stories are not why we’re here. I miss the murder and the snark. It’s giving homogenized.
I’ve been listening to MFM for almost a decade now, and I still get a little thrill when I see there’s a new episode to listen to! Sure, it’s not all murder anymore, but I find the stories they tell to be interesting and thoughtfully put together, plus they still make me lol :) My only complaint is that some of the ads feel a little off-brand, but they probably don’t have a lot of control over those.
Way too political. I used to listen happily for years for entertainment, but now they spend too much time complaining about politics. We don't care about your political opinions even if they line up with our own, because that's not why we choose the podcast. If I want to listen to a political podcast, I'll find a political podcast. Let me guess, they don't care if they lose listeners such as me. My listening supports just as much as anyone else though, so they're only hurting themselves by not s... more

A true crime podcast that blends dark historical storytelling with warm, humorous commentary from two long-running hosts. Episodes commonly pair detailed case narratives with banter, audience-submitted hometowns, and occasional live-show reminiscences, creating a distinctive vibe that sits at the intersection of murder mystery and lighthearted storytelling. Notable throughlines include deep dives into infamous cases, culture and media analysis, and a recurring emphasis on community, resilience, and the human side of crime. A standout is the hosts' ability to sustain warmth and rapport even when covering grim material, often expanding the format to celebrate fans and cross-promote other network programs. This mix makes it appealing to listen... more
