I absolutely love this podcast- Kate and Paul make such a great team, with brilliant rapport and each providing their own hugely knowledgeable perspectives. I love the level of detail and research that Kate does. I love the picture that is always painted of different societies in different windows of history. Brilliant!
10 mins of listening, 4 of silly talk of complexion care, 4 mins of commercials, 2 mins of story
Love the historical cases. Well presented both in terms of historical research as well as forensics. I really appreciate the catharsis of solved cases, but I enjoy even the unsolved cases that are presented here.
There is some banter/chitchat in the beginning and it’s hard to know how far to skip so you don’t miss the beginning of the story. Stories themselves are well told!
I love listening to Paul Holes but Kate goes off on too many tangents and adds too many anecdotes which makes me lose interest.
I really wanted to like this show but her constant comments and long drawn out stories are painfully annoying… they are unnecessary and add absolutely nothing of value.
I wish she would stop adding so much verbal filler and just focus on the topic.
