They will say a generic statement and say “right”? For example: “he and his family moved to New York and struggled to make ends meet, right?” Or “so she ended up going to prison for 20 years, right”. Congrats on The Serial Killer’s Apprentice! I was so excited to see your face on my TV 😃
This is a fantastic podcast. It’s so interesting to hear these stories from the author’s own words. They are the most passionate about their work and I find these interviews so interesting!
Nothing but respect for KWD and the behind the scenes team she works with. Not to be cynical but it can be way too easy for content creators to go for the shocking, exploitative angle or tone, but never with KWD. She conducts thoughtful, compelling interviews and truly is the standard for ethical, compassionate yet still captivating true crime reporting and content. Her other podcast, Buried Bones, is my absolute favorite-highly recommend giving a listen if you haven’t yet :)
