I like this podcast and hearing author’s perspectives on true crime stories they write about. But there’s one thing that kind of annoys me, it’s not a big deal but I’ve noticed a lot of the guest she interviews say “right” at the end of their sentences throughout their interview. They will say a generic statement and say “right”? For example: “he and his family moved to New York and struggled to make ends meet, right?” Or “so she ended up going to prison for 20 years, right”. I don’t know, I thi... more

  • A must for those interested in high quality and ethical true crime content!

Nothing but respect for KWD and the behind the scenes team she works with. Not to be cynical but it can be way too easy for content creators to go for the shocking, exploitative angle or tone, but never with KWD. She conducts thoughtful, compelling interviews and truly is the standard for ethical, compassionate yet still captivating true crime reporting and content. Her other podcast, Buried Bones, is my absolute favorite-highly recommend giving a listen if you haven’t yet :)
