  • A much needed podcast - vital information.

We are often unwittingly exposed to many toxins over which we have no control. The effect is cumulative. Health outcomes are adversely affected on a massive scale but industry, policy makers and government are not listening, never mind taking action.

This podcast shares vital information to help influence much needed change and to educate and empower listeners to take action to try to protect themselves and reduce exposure.

  • Won't find this info anywhere else

The MCS podcast not only has scientific information from doctors and researchers, but first hand experiences from real people suffering with MCS, without any profit incentives or affiliations. This information is invaluble and you won't find it anywhere else on the internet. Everyone suffering with MCS should be listening to this to avoid dangerous exposures in their own household and improve their health as much as possible. Aaron is poised, intelligent, and friendly and an excellent host.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Crip Kinship: Shayda Kafai, Ph.D.
Q: Do you think there is any pushback against inclusivity for people with disabilities that you see and experience these days?
Yes, there is definitely pushback, often framing disabled individuals and their access needs as a burden. This old stereotype continues to be replicated in various environments, including educational settings.
Crip Kinship: Shayda Kafai, Ph.D.
Q: Do you think it is harder for people to talk about being disabled when the disability is invisible?
Yes, it is often more challenging because the main image of disability tends to be associated with physical disabilities, and for many, the burden of proof around their invisible disabilities can be daunting.
Crip Kinship: Shayda Kafai, Ph.D.
Q: Would you like to talk a little bit about Sins Invalid?
They are a performance project based in the San Francisco Bay Area that began in 2006 to create spaces and stories where disabled folks can be centered and have validating conversations around embodiment and beauty.
Crip Kinship: Shayda Kafai, Ph.D.
Q: Do you have any thoughts or impressions or feelings about multiple chemical sensitivity as it relates to your work, or have you had any experience with it yourself?
Although I personally haven't had experience, I've had students and colleagues who have multiple chemical sensitivities, and I think that disability justice has provided all of us with this powerful container to really honor the needs of the access needs of all of our disability community.
A Journalist, 9/11 & MCS: Justine Barron
Q: Would you like to share anything else, or let us know what you're working on these days, or what you might be moving towards?
Justine promotes her book 'They Killed Freddie Gray', discussing police brutality and the perspective of marginalized communities.
