  • Grammar

Very smart but speaks very dumb. Stop ending your sentences with “right”. Please stop starting your sentence with “I mean”. English 101

  • She is a Neuroscientist

I just learned about this podcast and I’m listening to as many as I can. Smart people find out what they don’t know yet. And even Women can be neuroscientists. She has a PhD in it.

  • Excuses genocide

I was really enjoying the show and then found out Mayim is a Zionist. She has posted so much about Oct 7 and antisemitism and Israeli soldiers who have passed. Not a single post about the active genocide and ethnic cleansing that the Israeli govt is committing against Palestinian people. I have empathy for her because I know she has been indoctrinated… but I can’t condone this and I can’t keep listening.

  • Shaka’s interview

Loved the interview with Shaka Senghor. My only feedback is that when Mayam specifically asked how we as a society can help, Shaka shared so many incredible books, movies, and resources, but none of them were linked or listed in the episode breakdown. For those of us listening while driving or walking, it’s hard to stop and take notes, and now I’m having to go back through the episode to find everything again. It would be so helpful if all resources mentioned by guests were included in the show ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Before the Big Bang: God, Alien Life & The Operating System of Reality | Dr. Brian Keating
Q: What is it like to be a scientist who also contemplates questions about God, faith, and the nature of reality in relation to physics?
The guest explains that scientists can hold faith and still adhere to falsifiability, arguing that personal beliefs coexist with an evidence-based approach and that conclusions should be continually tested and revised.
Before the Big Bang: God, Alien Life & The Operating System of Reality | Dr. Brian Keating
Q: What have you seen in terms of people's interest in let's say life on other planets, even the use of AI to try and predict things about the nature of reality?
The guest notes that interest often outpaces solid grounding, and while curiosity is valuable, scientists must keep data-driven approaches and testable hypotheses at the core of their work.
BEING JEWISH WITH JONAH PLATT: Does Mayim Bialik Feel Safe in Public? & The Collective Punishment Paradox
Q: What was the moment that felt most urgent to share your experience with non-Jews?
She felt compelled to explain what it feels like to be Jewish after October 7, highlighting the need for Gentiles to understand the current fear and reality of Jewish life in America.
BEING JEWISH WITH JONAH PLATT: Does Mayim Bialik Feel Safe in Public? & The Collective Punishment Paradox
Q: Do you feel like you've had to explain your Jewishness your whole life?
Mayim describes a lifelong pattern of clarifying her name's meaning and Jewish identity, noting that as public figures, explanations come up repeatedly, but she views it as part of living openly.
Part Two: You Chose This Life Before You Were Born — Robert Edward Grant on Sacred Geometry, Da Vinci’s Hidden Code, Ancient Mathematics & The Simulation of Reality
Q: Has that been your experience in this transformation that you're undergoing? Can you talk a little bit about it?
Absolutely. The transformation is about realizing that I created my experience, and I want to understand why and how the path has been laid out rather than chosen freely. It's about recognizing that the choices we think we make may be an illusion of a choiceless path.
