This episode is deeply personal to me.

I really was excited about this podcast until I heard them recommending the HPV vaccine for everyone over 21. Do your research before you unanimously do something you hear on a podcast or by your traditional health practitioner that is just going with the flow of what is popular today

This podcast overall has helped the most as I walk thru my cancer journey. I didn’t know about aesthetic flat closure before this podcast and it helped me ask for it when I went to see the surgeon. We are all different in our needs and our journey is personal. This podcast explains the different paths available.
Wether trying to educate yourself as a patient or care provider the amount of information in this podcast is invaluable. Highly recommend listening.
I can’t think of a better person to teach us than a breast surgeon/specialist who is also a survivor. What a great resource for those of us whether diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer or metastatic (aka stage IV aka advanced), these are topics we deal with all the time! Great job @Dr.Halaharvi!! ❤️

A medically focused show led by a breast cancer surgeon who is also a survivor, with guests ranging from oncologists and gynecologic cancer experts to reconstructive surgeons and survivorship advocates. Episodes center on practical, evidence-based guidance for patients at every stage— from risk reduction and prevention to treatment decisions, post-treatment survivorship, and quality of life. Listeners commonly encounter deep dives into surgical evolution, genetics in treatment planning, reconstruction options, and the emotional and lifestyle aspects of living with or after breast cancer.
