  • Deepika Chopra?! Yuck.

Disturbing to see his name listed for the good life project podcast. Google Deepak Chopra or search for him on the DOJ‘s website and you’ll see that he was friends with Jeffrey Epstein, and said a lot of concerning & disgusting things about young women and girls through email. Until he addresses his role in things, I don’t want any life advice from him & I am unfollowing the show for hosting him.

  • Blown away by Tinnitus Episode

I don’t know where to begin except to say I had a similar experience with an overactive nervous system that made me itchy along with Tinnitus. You summed it up by sharing the simple words Abandon Hope. I understood completely what you meant and have also found piece in my discomfort. Like you it has lessened greatly but not by fighting or fearing it. Instead acceptance. Thankyou for your calming voice and Metta meditation. Just amazing and transformative.

The 4 Chemicals That Run Your Brain…and Your Life | Tj Power
Q: Is there a broader takeaway for living a good life?
Contribute to family and community, create rather than consume, and spend substantial time in nature to balance tech use and maintain social connection.
The 4 Chemicals That Run Your Brain…and Your Life | Tj Power
Q: How do we practically apply this in daily life?
Use the DOSE framework as 20 actionable behaviors, tailor them to lifestyle, and implement simple systems like stopwatches for focus, blocked social media windows, and nature or movement routines to maintain balance.
The 4 Chemicals That Run Your Brain…and Your Life | Tj Power
Q: What about flow states and their relationship to dopamine?
Flow is a deep immersion that naturally increases dopamine during the pursuit of a goal; minimizing interruptions helps sustain flow, and timed blocks (30-60 minutes) are effective for deep focus.
The 4 Chemicals That Run Your Brain…and Your Life | Tj Power
Q: Take me into this.
The guest explains the four DOSE chemicals, their functions, and how everyday actions can modulate them, emphasizing that learning to chase positive states rather than merely avoid negative ones yields better long-term results.
The Midlife Muscle Loss Lie: How to Stay Strong at Any Age | Dr. Vonda Wright
Q: Why is midlife a critical window for building a strong body?
Because tissues peak around 30, but estrogen loss and other hormonal changes during perimenopause create a vulnerability window; starting to build strength and cardio in the 30s–40s establishes a reserve that protects mobility and independence later.
