A “doctor” claims that obesity isn’t a health risk, lol. While they smack their gums crumbs flying. You’re justifying your food addictions. I’m not like the rest of these weak white women who bow at your fat feet, apologizing for my existence. No. Get healthy. Eat what you need, move more, and get enough sleep. Stop eating processed food. This is absurd. Like when I was addicted to heroin, I didn’t make a podcast saying heroin actually isn’t a danger to my health. That’s what this is.
Its been a couple years since i woke up from diet culture but it’s still a struggle to break free! Love having Virgie in my ears to support and guide me and provid magical, spot-on wisdom. Just listened to the ep w Isabel Foxen Duke and breathed a huge sigh of relief 😌😌
Virgie is so smart and so fun and so easy to listen to :-) shows are inspiring and uplifting as well as educational!
Oh Virgie! Thank you for this joyous, beautifully critical, creative & uplifting podcast and to all the rebels that come & share their insight, wisdom, heart & minds! I just listened to an old one- Eat & Move for fun- just brilliant! From Australia- (a pretty young land in its knowledge and championing of fat activism & body positivity)- I thank you!
