I did turn it off after the animal abuse. I had to put on Heated Rivalry to recover. But I will come back to it, because I’m a masochist and I love hearing you lovingly and hatefully tearing this man apart.
I’m always so excited when I see their new podcast.
I’ve been a huge fan of this show for years now. I teach science writing and often assign the episodes on BMI and the “Obesity Epidemic” to my college students. I appreciate how the hosts demonstrate how to read scientific studies critically and have often wished they’d do an episode explicitly about how to read scientific literature. Thanks, you two!
A great and informative listen. Aubrey and Mike manage to make even the driest of topics a fascinating, funny, and emotionally engaging conversation.
I truly live for when Michael makes Aubrey laugh so hard that Mutley enters the chat.
I can’t thank you both enough for everything you do xxx

Episodes frequently examine diet trends, industry marketing, and public health claims, highlighting how misinformation can propagate in wellness culture. Notable strengths include rigorous research, clear explanations of complex topics, and a playful dynamic between the two hosts that keeps tough subject matter accessible. The show's willingness to call out dubious claims and the paywalling of some content are recurring talking points among listeners, suggesting a segmented audience that values honesty and depth over glossy sensationalism.
