I absolutely loved the early episodes of this show when they actually talked about stuff we were wrong about. I wish they would get back to that.
Tried an episode but the host seems unable to convey serious information in an sincere manner, defaulting to inappropriate humor and just a level of detatchment that completely undermines the subject matter. I think this is a problem with "professional" podcasting in general, where the show gets successful and the hosts begin to get complacent-- confident instead of questioning, detatched instead of relatable, making the always-fatal mistake of caring about the material less than the audience do... more
