I’ve been waiting for Blair Braverman to start her own podcast for years. I’ve listened to just about every podcast episode she’s ever guest-starred on, and somehow What to Carry, What to Burn still exceeded my expectations.

I have loved Blair on You’re Wrong About for years. The first two episodes here with Sarah Marshall were just gorgeous. But then the third - when it’s just her, telling you this truly truly amazing heartwarming heartbreaking tale - it’s just as good! Do you want to believe in the goodness of people? Their ability to care for one another at the ends of the earth? To see their ingenuity and perseverance in action? Listen and love it.
I’ve always been riveted by Blair’s stories of survival on You’re Wrong About. I love that I now get to enjoy a whole podcast devoted to them! Her storytelling is well researched, captivating, and empathetic. At the end of each episode I learn so much about people, the world, and myself in the process. I think now of the Lord of the Flies series that was made and I’m so happy the Blair is fighting back with much better narratives that are more real, true, and feeling than that will ever be!
