Edge-of-your-seat survival stories, as told by adventurer and dogsledder Blair Braverman.
How did Ada Blackjack endure a brutal Arctic winter alone? Why did one shipwreck crew work together to survive, while another crew–on the same island–hunted each other for food? What can we learn from survivors about getting through the impossible–in the wilderness, and in our own lives?

TLDR; incredible stories told by an incredible storyteller. What more could you ask for (especially since these stories are available for free)!!
Though I already deeply enjoyed Blair’s work (especially her novel, Small Game), this podcast further solidified that awe and appreciation.

An empathetic and unique perspective into human nature. Blair is a magnificent storyteller. If you enjoyed her work on You're Wrong About, you'll enjoy her here.
Always loved when Blair would feature on You’re Wrong About, so it’s a huge treat to get a whole podcast of her! Love her thoughtful approach to these difficult stories, the quality of her voice, and how these are ultimately really heartening which is not what you usually get with ‘true crime’. Also really appreciate how Blair cites her sources and offers her own insight as a survivalist and outdoors person. I will continue to gobble these up as they come out!
Blair is an expert story teller and brings so much humanity to these tales. Always excited when I see a new episode has dropped!
I heard Blair on You’re Wrong About and her episodes were some of my favorites. She’s a great storyteller, I love this podcast!
