Project 1933 was amazing! What a gift to the world!
moira donegan is such an intelligent and insightful thinker, especially when it comes to topics relating to gender or misogyny. I read quite a lot of feminist and queer theory but I'm still amazed by her observations all the time. Thank you!
overall a thought-provoking podcast with many sharp insights! the one thing that gives me pause is the frequent jabs at people's appearances - i know that they're often talking about horrible people, but just on principle it leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. i'm sure plenty of good people also have and can't help the same features they make digs at, and it just seems unnecessary to make that the target of cruelty when there is plenty of legiminate material for moral complaint.
Moira and Adrian offer the sharpest gender analysis around. Witty and incisive, and i learn something every time.
The nerdier, the better—I really loved the natural law episode and the Wagner episodes! Project 1933 was a highlight last year as well.
I really wish the bonus episodes were available on Apple Podcasts and not just through Patreon though. Why not make them available via subscription here too?
