I‘m very happy to have found this podcast and have binged through almost all of the episodes. Love it! Only one thing… I would maybe reconsider the intro music
This podcast often tackles some hefty topics but Adrian and Moira always keep it engaging. I enjoy gaining new or deeper insight into many ongoing issues that often influence us even over here in Europe. You can tell how well researched the episodes are and I’m always looking forward to new ones!
Been meaning to leave this review for ages, but since Moira mentioned she reads all the reviews for the pod in the Lena Dunham ep, I took it as a sign. I always learn something and am left with a better analysis of gender, history, and politics. Also Moira has the best laugh in podcasting.

Two intellectuals explore right-wing ideas about gender, sexuality, and power through rigorous analysis of historical and contemporary texts, media, and public discourse. Across episodes, the show often centers feminist theory, queer studies, and critical theory to unpack how conservative narratives shape culture, politics, and everyday life, all delivered with sharp humor and scholarly context. Notable strengths include high-quality research, thoughtful guest conversations, and a willingness to critique both historical figures and modern media ecosystems. This mix makes it valuable for listeners seeking a rigorous, theory-forward take on gender and politics, with clear relevance to current debates about rights, representation, and ideology... more
