Always enjoy your guests. (and I can’t get enough Michael Hobbes )
I was honestly pretty disappointed in the birth control misinformation episode, and my disappointment was tied to something that runs through many of your episodes - the total lack of acknowledgement of trans and non-binary people. I know that your goal is to examine right wing gender narratives, which often also refuse to acknowledge their existence, but I think you do your audience a disservice by reinforcing that same strict gender binary.
Thank you for your episode about birth control misinformation, which has helped me navigate the confusing messages that have emerged online. I just started listening to this show and I’m finding your analysis of current events super insightful. I love the humor as well. Keep it up!
I’ve been listening to this podcast for over a year now and I’m constantly recommending it to my friends. Love it! Perfect balance of quality research + great reading recommendations + hosts I wish I were friends with. Best duo. And I really appreciate Adrian’s perfect pronunciation of every foreign word in contrast with Moira’s charming American accent!
