  • Slamming the nurse practitioner profession

Shame on you Holly Wayment for discrediting a nurse practitioner’s clinical judgement in diagnosing and treating our patients! UT Health is comprised of numerous physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other advance practice providers who strive to provide the best care possible for our patients and families. It is disheartening to hear, on a public podcast, that you would slander anyone on your own team.

Her questions would be fine for the lay person who has a low base, but for practitioners/providers, it would be much better to have a professional doing the interview or at least making sure Holly’s questions are some they think appropriate... more
