  • Powerful and necessary

We need to take the stigma away from the topic of mental health. I have lost one too many lives…individuals that felt they were alone, isolated, scared, feeling as if they did not matter to anyone. They did to me. Sheila’s work in this podcast is truly a gift and I am grateful for her continued efforts to keep this conversation going so perhaps someday, that one person will reach out before choosing the latter. Thank you Sheila! I appreciate your voice and your words more than you know. ❤️🙏... more

  • Interesting guests

But please examine your attitudes toward psych meds and those of us who need them to live full and healthy lives. We get enough shame from society in general and don’t need to hear it from therapists. I just can’t listen anymore. Too hurtful.

  • Powerful, inspring, personal

First, let me say, Sheila Hamilton has a terrific voice and is a great interviewer. She is curious and makes space for her guests but also tells some of her own experience. The guests and topics are varied and I seem to find something helpful in each episode. HIghly recommended for anyone who is struggling or simply wants to know themselves and those around them better.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 416/ Anirudh Bajaj. A.I. Anxiety
Q: What specific jobs across the US workforce can be done with AI right now?
AI can handle many routine, document-heavy tasks today but cannot replace the nuanced, interpersonal work that many roles require; the efficient path is to map a job into tasks, identify which can be automated, and keep humans overseeing the output for higher-value results.
Ep. 413/ KJ Atlas. Part 1. An alternative path to healing.
Q: What moment made you decide to pursue healing through a broader tradition rather than sticking with Western medicine alone?
She describes a decision point where conventional treatments offered limited hope, and she chose to explore naturopathic and integrative paths, ultimately incorporating astrology and trauma work to support healing.
Ep. 413/ KJ Atlas. Part 1. An alternative path to healing.
Q: Take us back to college and talk about what was happening in your body and your mind before you even understood the two were connected.
KJ describes autoimmune symptoms starting in her teens, the delay in understanding the mind–body link, and the struggle navigating medical diagnoses before discovering a broader approach that included behavioral health and astrology.
Ep. 407/ Maya Schumer. Bipolar Disorder and Keto.
Q: What specifically did Dr. Bernstein suggest changing in Maya's diet to begin the ketogenic approach?
He advised starting with supervision, gradually ramping up ketosis, and using a keto diet structured to achieve therapeutic ketosis rather than a casual dietary change.
Ep. 408/ Revisit: Dr Leslie Dobson Pedophiles n Instagram Moms
Q: What guidelines would you offer to parents trying to keep their children safe while still allowing social media use?
Dobson suggests leveraging parental-control tools (like Bark) and actively shaping what children can access, including adjusting thumbnails and using settings that minimize risk while maintaining age-appropriate online experiences.
