I feel for the murder victims and their families but also feel deeply for Vince and his brother who I believe to be truthful and who were also victims to this awful man. So sad that they lost their Mum who loved them. Absolutely devastating what he did to them and his murder victims.
My only criticism is that I found the upbeat music in the podcast a little unsettling due to the sadness of it all.
I grew up hearing this story. It was my father Terry Evans who was the Foreign and Commonwealth representative who investigated the disappearance. Such tragic loss of life. My heartfelt sympathy to their family
Not convinced about all the silence. Almost as if , he’s making it up as he goes along . Or is he such a traumatized terrified kid? But he then switches to memories off swimming off the boat s as no Peta teaching him.. I don’t know… so many questions still lingering!
I was hooked from episode one, such a tragic story. I was in tears when Penny found her brother’s grave. Great music at beginning and end of each episode too. Highly recommended
What makes this captivating isn’t just the story but it’s the dogged spirit, empathy and intelligence demonstrated by the two journalists. They are unafraid to ask the painful, uncomfortable questions. The results of this investigation are a testament to the power of persistence by the family, certain dedicated law enforcement personnel and the journalists.
The case is fascinating and I’ve never listened to a podcast in which no stone was left unturned.
