The content is great- precise, well researched- but the narrator’s voice is so flat, and monotone- I find it difficult to listen to for any length of time.
Calm down with sex assault on kids. This has been like every other episode lately. I do not enjoy those cases at all. Let’s refocus on good old fashioned murders that are tricky to solve. This is getting too gross and morbid for me.
Thanks ! Have listened to you from the beginning.
We’re friends 😂
The decision to drip feed multiple part episodes straight after a long break was an insult to your audience. Lazy case choices too, as they had already been covered by multiple other podcasts before. Why are episodes not released in the morning on the day they are advertised? Dropping them in the late evening is another questionable decision. Please go back to the early days Casefile formula, they were brilliant.
Narrator has evolved, and stories/events are true to actual events. I have quite a lot of gripe with being a subscriber for nearly a decade while receiving little. The archives, behind the files and repeats aren’t interesting. We’ve listened. tysm. However still, there is much of merit due to the narrator being incredibly respectful to every person in the case discussed. This is something lacking from other “true crime” podcasts. You’re doing great, but do better ♥️

The show delivers meticulous, documentary-style true crime storytelling with a strong emphasis on thorough research, structured narration, and long-form case explorations. Episodes frequently cover lesser-known or historical cases, weaving archival material, expert perspectives, and survivor or witness accounts into cohesive narratives. A recurring talking point among listeners is the craftsmanship and pacing, though there's notable debate about the release cadence and the rise of multi-part formats. A standout is the commitment to high production quality and a clear, calm narration that keeps complex investigations accessible, even when handling sensitive topics. This combination tends to attract serious true crime fans who value depth, ac... more
