The truth about healthy food is amazing and the truth about emotional health is so healing. The big Pharma and the AMA have done a very good job of keeping us sick by treating the symptoms so that we always need their help with drugs that mask the problem and ultimately let us down. To find real health you must look beyond the drug store and the local Doctor.I did and at 74 I am on no prescription drugs of any kind. Thank your your transference Dr. Sina and I’m thrilled to hear your journey back... more
I listen to a few different homesteading type podcasts and I usually start with the first episode and work my way to the present. I’ve heard a few of them say this is the guy to listen to if you want to learn about homesteading. Maybe that was the case a few years ago, but I can’t listen anymore to Joel and his guests go down conspiracy theory rabbit holes time after time. I listened to over 15 episodes giving him the benefit of a doubt, before I had to tap out. I wanted to hear about homesteadi... more
I have read some of Joel’s books and took a detour, while on vacation in Pennsylvania, to visit Polyface. I found his innovative approach to farming and enthusiasm for sustainable agriculture engaging and admirable. However, no longer constrained by the narrow scope of expertise, he has ventured forth to opine about medicine and the culture writ large. The farmer becomes the polymath. I can only wonder where this new, freewheeling practice of competence extrapolation will take us next.
Really disappointed that Joel has moved away from sharing helpful proven farming techniques and has gone down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole with medical disinformation. So disappointed.
I loved this podcast UNTIL you were asked to pay to listen to the entire show. A 4-5 minute tease doesn’t look good for the podcast. I’m a huge fan of Joel but I’ll pass on paying for this.
