  • Love it!!!

Melissa is one of my favorite homesteaders. I found her years ago on YouTube and started watching her videos when I was so lost in learning how to garden. I learned so much from her and I have been very successful in my own journey because of her. This podcast is wonderful and I will recommend to everyone who is interested in growing their own food. She is very knowledgeable and worth listening to.

Melissa is an exceptional interviewer. I appreciate how respectful you are toward every guest. You have an organized and natural way of communicating with people, such that you could easily carry a career in doing that alone.

I enjoy topics about showing stewardship over the earth, how to maintain quality soil, photosynthesis, etc.

If it seems feasible, it would be interesting to hear a round table about gracefully making transitions in life (seasons, moves, etc.).

  • After the Pause

Long time listener of this great homesteading podcast! Love the variety of individual, round table, and interview episodes. Would really like to have a collection of more episodes covering your time on the hbo show back to the frontier. Loved the first episode you did and can’t wait for more after the pause.

  • Thank you for sharing about what happens when we push through too hard. I am excited that for the first time in 6 yrs I have permission to be completely out of the office for the beginning of the Christmas Season!

I would love to gave more deep dives especially into herbal medicine, making tinctures, salves and how find reliable alternatives to over the counter things. Take care and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Bless you for being honest and also helping us evaluate our own homesteading journeys!

My 92yo mom moved in with us this year. It has forced me to press pause on a lot of things… like you say, it’s about seasons.❤️

My favorite podcasts are when you interview experts. You introduced me to Bevin Cohen and his topics, also a woman who talked about cheese and another who knows all about heirloom apples and their history. Also helpful to me was hearing about your health journey, the detox part. Tha... more
