Dr. Downey has a caring heart and is able to mix conventional therapies with functional approaches in a way that truly serves our population, especially the elderly, whom need someone as caring as him. I’m thankful for his work in medicine and his ability to provide a platform !
I had the pleasure of partnering with Dr. Downey as a guest on his podcast. His devotion to his fellow beings is palpable, and his show is an expression of this. Our conversation flowed naturally towards guiding people in gathering deep insights and actionable information in service of healing and honoring one’s health as sacred. Dr. Downey is more than a physician. He is a healer.
Dr. Downey’s compassion and warmth comes across so clearly in these interviews. I’m already a fan of Functional Medicine podcasts and I’m enjoying this one as much as Mark Hyman’s or Chris Kresser’s that I’ve been listening to for years. I also love that there are interviews with locals as well as national experts. I’m looking forward to hearing more!
