Having lived in Humboldt I met Laura when our daughters played b-ball on the same team- I knew right away that she was a rad mama and her smile and laugh were contagious :) I listened to this podcast and laughed at things that you would only find in the 707! I love this podcast so much - thank you to Laura Doyle and all the people who have come on as guests! I love how in depth, honest, relaxed and conversational the episodes are. I listen to each new episode as soon as I can. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
As someone who had a baby in 1980, midwives were not a mainstream option. Tho I’d heard of them, no one I knew had home births, water or otherwise. This was so informative and interesting. If the subject of childbirth ever comes up, I’d definitely suggest this as an option. I listened to Shelby’s episode and not only was her journey to motherhood completely captivating, Laura exemplified the importance of having a experienced advocate through the process.
This podcast was recommended to me by my midwife and it truly helped me through every stage of my recent pregnancy, the birth of my son, and postpartum. The stories, shared joys and challenges, and real talk made me feel less alone and part of something greater as an expecting mom. I laughed a lot, cried a lot, and shared these episodes with friends along the way. Laura is an amazing speaker and this podcast is pure gold! Pregnant people need community! Thanks for all you do ❤️
This platform shares stories so relatable, educational, and profound. I listen the second a new one comes out. Laura is such a thoughtful host and shares a message of love and support to all women. Thank you for these stories about the depth of life!!!
