I’m waiting for a formal diagnosis but my mmol is consistently high. Whilst in ‘no man’s land’ this podcast is preventing too much worry. Thank you!
An uplifting, funny, poignant and warm podcast which hits all the right notes. Thanks so much Jen, I started listening to you immediately after my 5 yr old’s diagnosis and honestly feel you’ve been a huge help with my journey and acceptance. Sending love and good vibes to you xxx
I was diagnosed with type one diabetes a year ago at age 31. It’s been a tough year learning how to keep myself alive on top of everything else life throws at you but Jen and this podcast has been such a blessing. Jen and the lovely people that have been on this podcast has helped me accept my diagnosis and all the highs and lows it brings (pun intended). Every time I listen I feel understood and like I’m part of a warm and welcoming community instead of battling alone. Highly recommend for anyo... more
Recently discovered this podcast and it is brilliant. Really helps with the mental burden diabetes brings to hear from others. There is a real lack of mental support for managing this chronic condition and these podcasts really help fill that gap. As a type 1 diabetic for 31 years this is just what I have been looking for.
Though I love Ami and Jen, the podcast is starting to get old now. I miss Jen’s interviews. I think it would work fine if they hung out occasionally, but they need to change it up a bit. I still love them, though.
