  • Just what this industry needs

Whenever I struggle to put into words what massage therapy is, who it’s for and what role it is has in health care, I only have to listen to this podcast to be reminded about our purpose, our challenges and our community. If every massage therapist had to listen to one podcast episode before graduating, I recommend the Feb 14 one. Corey, in short order, both defines our profession and captures how it can be so difficult to find consensus on how we talk about touch.

  • Thank you!

Thank you for sharing this. I was struggling today, but that was washed away as I listened to the words from some amazing humans.

I was able to walk into the hospital today standing taller, with more confidence and sense of belonging, instead of blending into the wall.

Knowing that what I was headed there to do makes a difference, for the patient, staff and myself. I was able to set with a patient after making the decision to stop treatment, to be there, to listen and to talk of death. So, thank... more
