  • Dr. Mike is as scary as the Tech Bros.

Dr. Mike I is as nutty as Sam Altman,

Mark Zuckerberg, Elon, and Jeff Bezos. Radicalized by his own predilections especially in the world of artificial intelligence.

These men operate in their own dystopian realities and lose the narrative of how normal people go about

their lives. His enormous wealth and time have given him the means to access platforms to promote and profit off once again the vulnerabilities of us normal folks. He is no different than every other fitness influencer wanting... more

  • Honest Review for an Honest Guy

Finally, a real human being in the midst of teaching, learning, growing, sharing a wealth of questions, knowledge and conversations that really matter. An honest guy I know stands by his brand, his character and therefore this podcast is a major win in my books.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Should You Leave Your Child Alone With A Doctor? | Dr. Scott Hadland
Q: Why is confidential time with a teen so important in medical visits?
Because it helps the teen share sensitive information about drugs, sexuality, and mental health that they wouldn't disclose in the presence of a parent, leading to more accurate assessments and safer care.
What To Do If Your Doctor Gaslights You | Dr. Bayo
Q: How does Dr. Bayo suggest patients advocate for themselves in hospitals?
She recommends writing down top concerns, bringing advocates when possible, asking for a charge nurse, and using collaborative language like, 'What are my next steps if labs are normal?' to keep discussions constructive.
What To Do If Your Doctor Gaslights You | Dr. Bayo
Q: What sparked Dr. Bayo's decision to pursue medicine after a challenging start in her training?
Her father's experiences with dismissive, dismissive healthcare during his VA visits and the desire to help advocate for patients inspired her to pursue a more empathetic, patient-centered path in medicine.
How To Strengthen Your Brain As You Age | Dr. Majid Fotuhi
Q: What got you interested in studying the brain in the first place?
A childhood story about a girl who used her toes to do things because she was born without arms, which showed him the brain's power and potential to change and adapt, fueling a lifelong curiosity about neurology.
Why Jesse Eisenberg Donated His Kidney
Q: Why is there such a strong emphasis on the kitchen-table conversation before death?
Because understanding and recording the patient's wishes reduces caregiver uncertainty and helps families honor the donor's intent when medical decisions are made.
