This story is told well, however the younger children’s names should we withheld, as they are minors.
Ruby and her husband should have gotten the electric chair. They should not have included her crocodile tear statement to the court in the podcast
The way this podcast has chosen to tell this story is quite odd. And it seems biased in favor of the husband/father…who clearly was involved in aspects of abuse prior to Jody even entering the picture (making the kids sleep on the bathroom floor, denying them food, etc.) Check out Stephanie Harlowe’s series on this case. Much more thorough and well told.
This podcast was interesting from the POV of someone who hasn’t spent much time reading on this case. There was a lot of interesting information from various specialists. And then in the final episode they decided to bash an entire set of parents in a specific political party. What a disgusting decision and plug. I’m sure the way someone votes has nothing to do with how they treat their children. What a joke.
