She reached 222 pounds, recognized the need for change, and began a structured path combining cardio, weight training, and social support to lose weight and regain confidence.
A Classic Rewind: Workout Variations (w/ Allan McLeod)
Q: Hannah in Ohio asks for nut-free protein options and tips for a pea/dairy-free approach; what would you suggest as practical replacements?
Recommend a nut-free protein shake using a dairy option or pea-based protein, add healthy fats like coconut oil or avocado, and consider Quest bars as nut-free protein snacks; emphasize including fats to improve satiety and suggest experimenting with different flavors to find tolerable options.
A Classic Rewind: Intermittent Fasting in Everyday Life (w/ Michael Cassady)
Q: What is your experience with intermittent fasting and how has it fit into your life?
I've been doing it for a while, usually a noon-to-eight window or similar, and I've found it flexible rather than rigid. If a meeting or a social event comes up, I'll adjust—it's more about maintaining a daily rhythm than strict perfection. Over time it became something I can sustain, especially when paired with kettlebell work and mindful eating.
A Classic Rewind: Flexibility and Fat-loss for a Doughboy (w/ Nick Wiger)

Nick describes a stable, multi-faceted routine with cardio, bodyweight work, and a history of balancing busy work with fitness, including a emphasis on flexibility and back health.
