  • Death Stranding podcast

I fell off this show because they started only doing death stranding eps, went to try again and they’re still doing it.

Show needs way more game diversity, maybe consider something that isn’t critically acclaimed? Not that it has to go back to only bad games, but like the modern industry we’ve lost the mid-tier AA titles

  • Lot of ads, right?

I like the show. I really do. I’ve been here since the very beginning when they were playing Superman 64 and Sonic ‘06, but I was 30 minutes into the Games of 2025 Part II episode when maybe the fifth or sixth ad was read. So I turned it off.

Gaming in the Modern World with Ben Brock Johnson and Roman Mars
Q: Is gaming good or bad for society?
Gaming can be both good and bad; it depends on how we use it. Video games can foster creativity and problem solving, but they can also be addicting and allow for negative societal behavior.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
Q: What are your thoughts on the gameplay mechanics introduced in Death Stranding 2?
The gameplay mechanics are seen as an improvement, with more engaging combat and new infrastructures to build, making it feel more fun than the first title.
Donkey Kong Bananza, Fantastic 4 Games + Twisted Metal with Mike Mitchell
Q: What can fans expect from Twisted Metal Season 2?
Expect more car action, with some emotional depth to the story, and fun engagement with the characters as we stay true to the essence of the franchise while also introducing fresh elements.
Donkey Kong Bananza, Fantastic 4 Games + Twisted Metal with Mike Mitchell
Q: What were your experiences working on the Fantastic Four games?
I had a lot of challenges while developing the games, faced many obstacles like changing design parameters due to movie ties, and overall staffing issues due to expectations from the publishers.
Death Stranding 2: On The Beach First Impressions
Q: What video game property series would you feel the saddest about if it was erased from history?
Kingdom Hearts, because there's no way I would be able to recreate it or make it as successful as it was.
