    I am a 63 year old man, at 5' 7" and 225lb. I've been type 2 diabetic for nearly 18 years. My blood sugars were basically in the range the Doctor wanted them in with 2 daily doses each of both Metformin and Glipizide. As you have taught me through your wonderful podcast, I now know that all I was truly doing was managing numbers artificially. I was treating symptoms, not the cause.
