This podcast is a reminder to stop and listen to the world around you. You maybe surprised by what you hear.
It’s such a simple concept but it works: Craig is an incredible writer and his accompanying descriptions to each of these ambient pieces make it a very compelling listen. 💌
It calms my mind and my state. Helps me recreate or imagine an image of where you are. Thank you for this. Favorite part is hearing the trains, i can feel the air rushing all over my hair and face.
Nice! Andere yes, a really good Idea!
How often do we stand in one place, just listening? Not often enough, is my takeaway from this series of in situ, non-scripted binaural recordings taken from Craig Mod’s trek along Japan’s Nakasendo road. We’re only five episodes in and I already have two favorites on heavy rotation: episode one, for a little forest meditation (with a serendipitous ending), and episode four, for that “cafe background noise” vibe. Can’t wait to hear what comes next.
