  • Motivating and informative

Hearing the episode of getting back after kids resonated. As a middle aged father of young kids, business owner, and multiple injuries over the years, every chance back at the gym was hit with setbacks. I realize now I don’t have to train like the athlete I was a lifetime ago. Choices to put others first aren’t excuses. But not doing a little is.

And that is what Rori and Alyssa do with barbell training. They look at training as a structural system and it is a wonderful, radical approach to strength training....an approach that has helped me to improve technique, get stronger, train through ... more

  • One of a Kind Information

This podcast has helped me so much by providing information that has inspired me to get back in the gym. As a middle aged man with a long history of injuries I was close to throwing in the towel on lifting weights. All of my previous Drs and PTs have advised against Barbell training. They steered me towards walking, stretching/yoga, biking etc. Those activities are fine but in the past I have never felt better than when being strong. Physically and mentally. Thank you Rori and Allyssa for the gr... more
