  • Honest, compassionate, and informative

Jordan’s podcast is an absolute breath of fresh air in the fitness and health space. He consistently delivers solid, evidence-based information, but what truly sets him apart is his genuine kindness and radical honesty.

The episodes featuring various cancer experts have been particularly powerful and comforting. Instead of leaning into fearmongering or making listeners feel guilty that they somehow did something wrong, these conversations provided incredible clarity, reassurance, and validation ... more

  • Please get to the subject sooner!

I was so excited to find this podcast, but the first episode I listened to, he took 23 minutes - 23 minutes!!!!! To get to the start of the show. He had almost 30 minutes of banter. Some personality is fine, but listeners shouldn’t have to hunt through half an hour of shooting the breeze to find the actual content. Please tighten the introductions and get to the useful material sooner! I’ll give him another try . . .

Improving Cognitive Health, Reducing Dementia Risk, HRT, The State of The Medical System, and More
Q: What is your take on GLP-1 therapies and hormone-related treatments for aging and cognition?
GLP-1 therapies can offer metabolic and inflammatory benefits and may influence cognitive health, but they are not a magic pill; they should be integrated with exercise, nutrition, and broader lifestyle changes, and used under medical supervision with attention to potential side effects.
Improving Cognitive Health, Reducing Dementia Risk, HRT, The State of The Medical System, and More
Q: What are the most important modifiable risk factors for dementia that listeners can act on?
Focus on blood pressure control, weight management, diabetes prevention, reducing air pollution exposure, preventing vision and hearing loss, and enhancing social connections and community, as well as engaging in regular, socially interactive physical activity.
300 Pounds and Struggling with Motivation
Q: What would you recommend for a client who has been 300 pounds for decades and struggles with consistency, and is GLP-1 a reasonable option to discuss with a medical provider?
As a non-medical professional, the coach should not prescribe GLP-1 but should encourage a conversation with the client's medical provider. GLP-1 can be a powerful motivator by helping reduce excess body fat and improving health markers, which can boost confidence and adherence, but it should be considered carefully, with emphasis on overall health, potential muscle loss, and long-term sustainability. The coach should focus on building a pathway that includes gradual weight loss, strength training, and psychological strategies, while acknowledging that pharmacological options require medical oversight and personalized risk–benefit analysis.
How to Get Perfect Posture, Eliminating Postural Pain, Becoming Courageous, Juggling, and More...
Q: I'm recently taking a step back from a very strenuous corporate career and have awful posture. What can I do as part of my weekly routine to improve it?
Start with awareness, then gradually introduce mobility and strengthening in ways that aren't painful. Focus on expanding and controlling range safely (e.g., thoracic extensions, mobility work) and then progressively overload to reinforce new positions. Added benefit comes from improving overall mobility in the spine, hips, and shoulders, and incorporating movement into daily life rather than chasing a single perfect posture.
How to Breathe When Lifting Weights, Losing 20+ Pounds as a Busy Parent, The "Vegetarian Bean" Scandal, and More…
Q: What's your recommendation for someone who is new to perinatal training and wants to execute a plan rather than chase quick weight numbers?
The recommended mindset is to focus on executing the plan, not just the numbers. Regular sessions, even if weights don't always increase, count as progressive overload through frequency and total volume. Perinatal programs in The Inner Circle are highlighted as accessible options.
