In this episode, we talk about one of the most damaging beliefs keeping people stuck in their 30s, 40s, and 50s: “I should have this figured out by now.” That mindset creates shame, avoidance, and the pressure to pretend you know more than you do. Th... more

Mav and Kait have a way of simplifying health and fitness that has made such a difference for me just in through their podcast and their posts and stories on Instagram. Working out and strength training and different diets can feel intimidating and the way Kait and Mav cut through that noise and explain the science of how your body works and what to focus on has helped me tremendously over just a few months of implementing these things.
Started listening to this podcast recently and halfway liked a few episodes, until I heard today’s Q&A. They come across as self righteous and judgmental, while making baseless assumptions about their listener questions. As a listener, I felt as if I was being talked down to and mocked. For example, someone asked a simple question about whether they should take creatine and the hosts went on a tangent about how absurd it is for people to take a bunch of unregulated supplements (which said they d... more
I really enjoy this podcast. Mav & Kait know this stuff inside and out. They will joke occasionally that there’s only so many ways you can talk about a calorie deficit…..while that may be true, they continue to find new ways to do just that. I have listened to every episode that they have produced together and most likely every episode that Mav has done on his own. I have also gone all the way back and listened to most of Kait’s solo episodes. The interesting thing is that years before these... more
The podcast had a really strong run with health and exercise tips, though Mav would go on tangents about his personal life and 20 minutes in was the meat. I really appreciated the time stamps that eventually came. Now it has evolved into relationship advice from newlyweds and random things they are claiming they are experts in. I’m no longer listening.
I made a comment online about adding yoga into my weight lifting routine. I’m having chiropractic issues (probation from tight back muscles) from not stretching enough and getting older. Anyways, this dude was just downright rude to me and then blocked me. I don’t even know what I said that was wrong. I’m flabbergasted he has a business giving fitness advice if he is against stretching and treats people this way. I’m hoping he was hacked and that wasn’t really him that commented to me.

Two married coaches blend science-backed body transformation with candid discussions about relationships, parenting, and life by focusing on sustainable health for women 35+. Episodes center on gradual mindset shifts, practical training, nutrition, and managing life stress, with a no-nonsense, blunt delivery that values autonomy, boundaries, and long-term change over quick fixes. A recurring strength is pairing evidence-based strategies with real-life anecdotes from marriage and parenting, making the show especially helpful for listeners seeking practical guidance that fits busy, family-focused lives. A notable hallmark is the duo's transparency and willingness to challenge common fitness industry myths while keeping conversations accessibl... more
