  • Informative & joyful

Im so over all the podcast bros so I stopped listening to podcasts for quite a while until I found BROADS! I love Tara’s take on everything fitness. She’s fun, unapologetic, and such an advocate for women taking up space! This podcast has helped me in so many ways, she brings me a lot of joy in the middle of my work day (I like to listen on mid day walks). Her guests are informative and the topics are always based on proven SCIENCE which is so refreshing! She also has really great questions to a... more

  • Recycled info?

Generally enjoy this category on women’s fitness and health, but the tone of this podcast is condescending and delivers conventional info we’ve heard in the space. And the guest on the emotional eating episode was terrible - didn’t answer the host’s questions and kept repeating the same thing. Unfortunately nothing to learn here.

Q: How do I know if I'm ready for a coach or should keep trying on my own?
If you've been stuck for months despite trying, shifts come from structure and progression, not more willpower; readiness is a decision, not a feeling.
135: Why High-Performing Women Can't Stay Consistent with Their Fitness
Q: What kind of support actually makes a difference long term?
Support must be specific to your life, evolve with you, hold you accountable without shaming, and be delivered by coaches who know you and your week.
135: Why High-Performing Women Can't Stay Consistent with Their Fitness
Q: Why do I lose motivation quickly even when I care about goals?
Motivation is an emotion and temporary; long-term action comes from identity-based commitment and having plans that carry you even when motivation wanes.
135: Why High-Performing Women Can't Stay Consistent with Their Fitness
Q: How do I stop starting over every Monday?
Mondays are a symptom of a larger pattern; instead, adopt a flexible, continuous approach where progress persists through imperfect moments and you don't view the week as ruined by a small lapse.
135: Why High-Performing Women Can't Stay Consistent with Their Fitness
Q: Why do I feel like I know what to do, but I still can't stay consistent?
Knowledge sits in the prefrontal cortex, but action lives in habits and the nervous system; you can't just think your way into consistency—you need a simple, actionable plan that reduces daily decision fatigue.
