I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s five years ago I am now 65 years old. I was an avid ultra marathoner, suoer fit and active so the diagnosis was very shocking! It has shut me down from running but has not stopped me from riding my bike, lifting weights, hiking any other exercise I can do.These podcasts have been super inspiring and motivating and I have enjoyed immensely... truly so very helpful in connecting with my Parkinson’s tribe virtually... thank you so much from Utah!
My dad was just diagnosed with Parkinson’s so it has been nice to hear some personal and honest experiences from the people who know to best. I appreciate your advocacy and openness to share. Can’t wait for next season.
Just finished the second listen to the Lifestyle episode. I am in tears. The content of this episode resonated so deeply. The word that you two shared was EXACTLY the message I needed to hear today. I cannot express the gratitude for the work you are doing!!!
I thought this podcast was very informative. Would definitely recommend for PD patients & family members! Looking forward to more discussions with Brian and Heather. I hope the research for better treatment options is given more priority in our health care.
This is a must for anyone with a relative, co-worker, friend or acquaintance that deals with the daily trials of PD! I learned so much. Thank you, Brian and Heather, for your openness and frankness. I hope to be a better listener and friend.
