Thanks for all you do. This is powerful and very interesting to listen to!
I’m really happy to find a place to hear demos of people using IFS. It was mentioned to me by my therapist but she is not IFS trained. Just learning about it has brought up so much curiosity and interest in me and has shut down a lot of burnout. I’m in a training to be a practitioner myself. This show is very helpful to me and gave me the insight and courage to find an IFS practitioner and get to work. IFS is changing my life. Thank you James for the work you do.
This podcast is so helpful and gives me hope for the future of psychology. James is a great facilitator and I’m learning so much by just listening to his technique and the individual experiences of his clients. Keep up the good work!!

This series centers on live Internal Family Systems demonstrations, focusing on guided parts work, self-leadership, and navigating exile and protector dynamics in real-time. Episodes blend experiential narration with practitioner-participant dialogue, often weaving imagery, inner dialogue, and boundary discussions to illuminate how parts influence decisions, creativity, and daily life. Noteworthy are the consistent emphasis on self-compassion, mindfulness, and practical strategies for integrating IFS insights into lived experience, which makes it a compelling resource for both therapists in training and curious listeners seeking tangible demonstrations of inner-work practices.
