I appreciate Esther's insight, and the bravery of the participants. I loved the friendship series, and the really valued the recent episode with a fellow poly person who experienced a traumatic betrayal. Thank you to all!
Used to love and listen to this podcast for years. Lately there are so many reruns of old episodes, too many ads, and the new episodes are just boring in my opinion. I really loved the episodes with couples and the episodes with individuals are just not the same!
I cannot believe the episode of the white parents who adopted their daughter from South Korea and couldn’t even mention until prompted by ester that their daughter is South Korean. I cannot believe ester didn’t talk about race with them more directly. So harmful. So disturbing. Everyone needs to do better.
This show melts my heart. The empathy, thoughtfulness, and depth feel so special, and it’s amazing to be given such a human, intimate window into people’s lives.
I used to love the couples sessions, but all the recent Ether callings are so boring and don’t go deep at all. The magic of going into the back stories of the people is gone from these and I just cant get into them anymore. Bring back the class sessions!
