The show was interesting for a while, but became repetitive. I was able to overlook the occasional leftist sniping, but the last show gave me my fill of “America is terrible because we haven’t adopted socialism.” I can watch any news show if I want that.
I love this show so much. It’s such a breath of fresh air to hear real life couples talk candidly about money. Ramit is amazing at validating feelings & emotions but then connecting that with truthful & honest action plans. I also appreciated episode 228, it’s great to hear about couples of all economic backgrounds. Keep up this amazing podcast!
I love this show. I bought the books for myself and young people in my family to try to help them get a better start. The most painful episodes are the ones that include people that are further along in life and have never taken the time to invest in themselves financially. Keep up the good work and I look forward to more interviews.
I really like your approach to money. It’s positive but realistic and it’s great to listen to real people talk about money without turning into a Jerry Springer episode. One big misconception that I’d like correct is that you have to have to pay for another line to have an Apple Watch or iPad. That is not true. They work perfectly as long as you are within bluetooth range of your phone. People think that because their phone carrier subsidized their purchases to sell them a more expensive plan.
I love all of Ramit’s content, and his original book impacted me so deeply. This podcast is super interesting because not only is it like sitting inside a therapy session, but Ramit is a facilitator that’s on par with a great mental health professional- who’s humble and non shaming (unlike others who seem to be popular by yelling) and often so reflective of how he wished he would have responded, and it’s so so beautiful that he shares his emotional growth journey alongside his guests and he’s ju... more
