Been listening for a few days and this is a palette cleanser from Dave Ramsey. I’ve been listening to Ramsey for years and learned a lot, however I am 34 and missed years of wealth building while trying to save for a house because I thought that was “what I was supposed to do” and in the Baby Steps. No hate on Ramsey, so grateful for the work they do! What I don’t like about MG is they hammer on the time lost if you wait…well what hope is there if we did end up waiting to invest? Just feels like... more

  • The good and bad.

Love the content, and the principles. Like others have said, the adds have been noticed, the react videos aren’t the best.

But again, excellent and sound advice that has helped me in my own financial journey, so still worthy of a 5 star!

  • Modern Dave Ramsey

I don’t think I have learned a single thing from this show in years. It’s the same stuff, constantly regurgitated, with nothing new or insightful. Like Dave Ramsey, it’s a “my way or the highway” show. Fortunately, TMG recognize where Ramsey is flat-out wrong. Unfortunately, TMG have their own shortcomings in approach and philosophy. To be honest, their whole purpose seems to be having you all willfully send them your data. For their profit.

Q: What factors should I consider when deciding whether to pay cash for a car or to finance it?
You should assess your overall financial situation, including how much cash you have available, your emergency fund status, and the potential terms of financing.
