I listened to her DTAP episode and although she’s very engaging, her incorrect grammar usage and pronunciation of words causes me to second guess her credibility. I’ll be using her podcast episodes in the future as supplemental resources but I wish she would correct her grammar.
examples: “Supposedly” vs “Supposubly” and using the singular word “woman” when she’s referencing “women”.
I love Brooke and what she is doing, but I just wish she did a little more prep on properly pronouncing a lot of the words/terms she discusses. She is clearly super intelligent but it makes me cringe a bit when listening to the episodes. Overall a great, informative show and thank you for the work you do, Brooke!
I appreciate the presentation of research/information in a relatively quick format. Brooke’s passion for the topics is evident and while I agree with what she says, I would not share these episodes with my family members who disagree. The amount of errors in pronunciation and grammar would trigger my medical family (docs, nurses, and PA’s) to discredit the information since it is being misrepresented. I know that’s shallow but it’s just how it works. Please please please re-record any episode... more
I recommend starting with the latest Episode "Choose your Hard!". I started with the childhood vaccine ones and some others which are great. I have other shows I listen to and some the info is repeated but this show has lots of new information as well. Thank you for what you do, and keep it up!
Brooke has her research brain in high gear week after week giving us all tons of information about topics I would never think to learn about! Thanks for all your hard work Brooke!
