  • Need more professionals

As a conservative mental health professional, I really am confused as to why all these people come and speak about the industry without expertise. I have yet to see an actual licensed mental health counselor/therapist? The topic of psych meds including SSRIs & stimulants is REAL and needs to be discussed and I am glad to hear about that! Great work uncovering that! But when it comes to talk therapy, many people are very uneducated. There are many good Christian mental health counselors who are w... more

  • LEARNING & GROWING

I have learned so much in the past two months since my sister encouraged me to start listening to culture apothecary while working out at the gym (rather than music).

I am learning about many topics i’ve had questions about and continuing to further my knowledge, research, and understanding on many of the topics she chooses to cover. Highly recommend listening to her!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Circumcision Debate, Vaccines & Parental Rights | Dr. Bob Sears, MD
Q: What are the risks versus benefits of vaccines, and how would you answer a parent asking if risks outweigh benefits?
The guest suggests a balanced, hypothetical approach: if he were having more kids today, he would likely raise them vaccine-free, arguing that disease risks are manageable and vaccines carry significant perceived risks; he emphasizes that he discusses the data openly but does not tell families exactly what to do.
Why So Many Women Have TMJ, Anxiety & Insomnia | Toothpillow DMD Hilary Fritsch
Q: What should a parent do about a toddler's mouth breathing and jaw development?
intervene early with screening for tongue posture, avoid pacifiers if possible, promote nasal breathing, consider an expander for wide palate growth, and begin myofunctional therapy to train tongue posture as soon as possible.
Why So Many Women Have TMJ, Anxiety & Insomnia | Toothpillow DMD Hilary Fritsch
Q: What are the devices that somebody can be asking or treatments or whatever, that somebody can be asking an airway dentist in their area for if they're an adult who is mouth breathing and they want to stop this and they want to fix it and they want to look more attractive and have a better jaw?
Start with a free assessment at Toothpillow to identify whether you're a good candidate for an airway-aware approach, including expanders or clear aligners with an airway protocol, followed by myofunctional therapy and a retainer to prevent relapse.
America’s Kids Are Falling Behind: A Way Out For Teachers & Parents | Dr. Hutz Hertzberg
Q: What does courage look like for a teacher in 2026?
Courage may mean walking away from a job rather than compromising beliefs for a paycheck or pension, emphasizing fidelity to faith and values over job security.
America’s Kids Are Falling Behind: A Way Out For Teachers & Parents | Dr. Hutz Hertzberg
Q: What is Iron Works and why was it created?
Iron Works is a two-year program combining physical activity, Bible and scripture study, and practical survival skills, created to address the belief that boys learn differently and to provide a structured path for father-son engagement.
