Interesting topic and this podcast does have some interesting points. However I ended up stopping this one because of all the side stories-many of which did not flow from one to the next. I would have loved to hear the actual crime story of the Harvard director who this podcast is supposed to be about-not our society’s perceptions about death and dying.
Love this one!
Really enjoyed this podcast something different
This is a well-written, well-researched, and well-presented program without exploitation.
The presenter has a beautiful voice which made listening pleasurable.
95% of the story revolves around discussions of how body parts are bought/sold and how we, as humans perceive death and such. I often found myself thinking about basically anything rather than paying attention to any of the episodes. I don’t feel I learned much about the crime itself, which is what drew me to this podcast. I feel the opportunity to tell an unbelievable story was lost.

Focusing on the disturbing events surrounding body donations, the content centers around the unethical practices discovered at a prestigious medical institution. The narrative vividly explores the journey of body parts, particularly through the lens of Cedric Lodge, a former morgue manager, who sold human remains illicitly. Episodes feature extensive discussions on the devastating emotional impact on families who believed they were contributing to medical science through altruistic donations. The podcast also delves into the broader implications of body donation ethics, legal loopholes, and societal attitudes towards death and human remains, making it a unique exploration of a dark and compelling subject.
