  • Not good

I had high hopes for this as I really rated Luke’s journalism on his other podcasts. However, there is far too much pointless whittering between the two hosts; I wish they’d just cut it out and give us the stories. These contrived ‘chats’ and interjections add nothing and are incredibly crongeworthy.

  • Lack of cultural awareness is embarrassing

Lots of immature snorting, disinteresting small talk and quite how you can produce and narrate a podcast about Italian people without even attempting to pronounce their names correctly says everything about Broken Britain. Cringe from start to end.

  • Love the pod

Love this pod and the great conversational chemistry between Luke and Poppy! But the mic levels are really strange - I have to have it at max volume to hear them both, and then the music sometimes masks them! Poppy particularly has low levels, if you guys can fix it, pod is great otherwise

  • Addictive…

This has quickly become a quick favourite of mine. These strange stories and thought provoking explanation I’m addicted. But am I alone in thinking this is recorded at low audio levels compared to other podcasts?
