This podcast isn't good. There's irrelevant stories throughout and interviewing Dr's about why people lie. It just seems irrelevant. I want the main story so much fluff
Narrator is well spoken and has a good story to tell, but jumps all over with so-called experts going on about things we don’t need to hear… timelines and chapters are all over the place.
This show has promise, involve a better editor and do some research on how a podcast should flow.
The stories are interesting and great cautionary tales, for sure. But the ads are as scammy as the catfishing people in the stories. Why would you go with these companies that are clearly scams, too? Very smarmy.
I find it so weird that this show about love scammers is sponsored by a scammy love connection company. Otherwise, it’s an entertaining podcast
First- these ads are INCREDIBLY SCAMMY it was kind of shocking that these were the people being touted. Dear god.
Second I felt the host hadn’t really found empathy with her mom and wish someone else had narrated as the mom was very brave to share her experience. This is so common and the shame surrounding it is not for the victims to carry it’s for the perpetrators.
