I would just like to say thank you for sharing your story. That must have been a terrible experience for you, and it must be scary to share something like that on the internet. I hope you are doing better now. Thank you.
I’ve been listening for a while and I love the stories and I LOVE Hannah, but Mackenzie’s seemingly covert classism, racism, misogyny, and homophobia is getting out of control. I notice Hannah tries to cover or change the direction of the comment as to not make it sound so bad, but it’s obvious. One of the latest episodes was full of so many examples of all of these things. Her general way she speaks, the high pitch teenage girl voice and verbiage and things she says(like “patreoners” rather tha... more
I hate to update this review like this, but it has to be said. I’ve been a huge fan of this podcast for years now, it’s always the first podcast I listen to every week and I look forward to new episodes. I have followed McKenzie on Instagram forever, which is how I found the podcast, and I’ve always loved her. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago she posted a video on her personal account that was supposed to be funny, and it looks like everyone did think it was funny, but she went after a mom for sup... more
These stories are (mostly) interesting but, man, the hosts are THE WORST. The shrieking, the giggling, the middle school made up terminology, i.e. femtuition (I can’t) and constant trite remarks. SPOILER, the hosts are gonna absolutely love the guest. How do I know? They say it every intro. “We just love her, oh my gosh” Anyway, I have found that fast forwarding through their entire intro and conclusion is the only way to listen.
What I am saying here is nothing a bunch of other reviewers ... more
I’ve been listening since the very beginning. I just can’t now. Between the insufferable whiny guests who had a million red flags and just kept giving themselves and their money and the hostesses and their separate issues. Guests saying “like” every other word is brain torture. Hostesses- what can I say that hasn’t been said? The squealing is high school girl stuff. The weird sayings, accents, interrupting of guests. It is just time for me to move on.
