  • More PI stories!!!

I enjoy most of the firsthand stories from guests but I much prefer Mackenzie Undercover episodes. I wouldn’t mind if the entire podcast was just Mackenzie talking about her PI job.

  • Can you just do a private eye podcast separately?

This podcast is great but since the stories are so serious I’m not really into listening to the really sad, depressing dogfish stuff at least not right now . I honestly just periodically check for the private eye stories and from what I am seeing there are not that many podcasts that are doing that content . Or at least the ones I found are not as good of story tellers. I think it be a nice side podcast!Anyway just thought I throw it out there!

  • Please Stop Interrupting

Do the hosts realize how rude they are? You can feel it in the guests’ voices. You do not need to jump in with a question mid-sentence. I have officially unsubscribed after years of faithfully listening every Monday. I enjoy the drama. Not their constant shrieking.

Mom vs. Dogfish
Q: What is your advice for listeners who fear confrontation with a loved one about a potentially dangerous relationship?
Lead with support, not accusations; provide verifiable information, respect boundaries, and give the person agency to decide, while staying a consistent safety net and offering resources if they choose to re-evaluate.
Mom vs. Dogfish
Q: How did you approach researching him without overwhelming Sophie?
I shared the information calmly and framed it as a collaborative effort, asking Sophie whether she wanted to see more documents and evidence, so she could come to her own conclusions with support rather than being told what to think.
Mom vs. Dogfish
Q: What initially alerted you to something being wrong with Mark, Sophie's partner?
My gut kept screaming something was off, and by methodically asking myself and Sophie pointed questions, I started noticing inconsistencies, like the age difference, and later, the absence of him at important moments which suggested avoidance.
The Hero's Secret Life: Part 2
Q: Can you walk us through what you were thinking when you first discovered the Craigslist messages and the plan to bring strangers into the home?
I was in absolute shock and realization that the man I trusted was actively orchestrating danger in our home; I gathered evidence, confronted him in controlled ways, and began planning my exit while trying not to awaken him or escalate the situation.
The Man Behind the Mask
Q: How did you approach the issue of housing and finances after the revelations?
I sought legal counsel, put my name on the deed, and used the legal process to secure my financial stake; I chose to protect myself rather than stay trapped in a deteriorating situation.
