  • Decent replacement for normal gossip

Great potential. I like that there are normal stories that are interesting.

Cons: please put the ads in the beginning or between segments. It messes with the mood. & the gen z slang feels super forced. & the language could be cleaner & it is a bit distracting bc it feels off.

  • Mostly okay

Definitely agree with the ridiculous amount of ads now. Would prefer regularly recorded ads rather than hearing grown adult Griff calling himself a "dumb dumb" (cringe). Also could do without the girl host making the entire skims ads about herself, girl no one cares about your very personal underwear preferences, k?

Not a fan of the girl host, trying too much and revoltingly not funny.

She goes over the top when portraying a characters response that you can't even understand what she's saying.... more

  • Ads

I love the stories. But sooo many ad plugins 😭😭 not just the start but in the center of the audio too. Its pretty annoying tbh. Please get rid of it.

  • Please do better

Desperately needed: intro and outro stings or music cues before and after all the host-read commercials. Please listen to other podcasts and hear how it’s done? A once fun and unusual show between old friends is deteriorating into something that sounds like one big cash-grab mush. That’s not you guys!

  • My new BFFs

I am hooked. This show popped up as recommended and wow I am glad I took the petty plunge.

It’s perfect for long drives to work, and it just feels like you’re sitting around gossiping with your friends.

The banter is amazing, and legit if I lived near them I would want to be their best friends.

Ps… people that are hating on sponsors, this is how they make a tiny bit of money. Life ain’t free honey.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Cease & Desist (w/ Normal Gossip's Rachelle Hampton)
Q: How petty would you say you are?
Rachelle Hampton describes herself as not particularly petty, though she embraces the playful, petty framing of the conversation and draws on her experience as a gossip/ cultural writer to analyze the social dynamics at play.
Male Manipulator
Q: Is Tiffany guilty for making me guess her college?
No, she wasn't guilty for requesting the guessing game; the more nuanced issue was Langston's sarcastic delivery which escalated tension.
Undercover Lover (Live)
Q: Was Braxton's disguise at the party a clever ruse or a chaotic distraction?
The group views Braxton's impersonation as a bold but messy attempt to manage the situation, acknowledging both the comedic potential and the chaos it created.
Designated Dummy
Q: Am I guilty for causing a party-wide panic about the keys that were maybe in my jacket the whole time?
It's understandable to get help if you can't find your keys; you weren't being dramatic, you genuinely needed help to find them.
Designated Dummy
Q: Am I guilty for talking about my not drinking in front of everyone, or should I have just ordered a Sprite or something?
No, it doesn't seem like you called attention to it in a judgmental way nor did you dwell on why you don't drink.
