  • Started ok but the content is actually really unoriginal and seems like an attempt to cash in on the hard work already done by other journalists. Worse, their increasingly obvious biases have no place in a world that's supposedly trying to do better. Just tell the stories and quit using Audible as a platform for commentary that would be immediately banned if aimed at you.

  • Well researched with fun personality

True crime series are a dime a dozen, but I appreciate the research and journalistic effort that the two hosts bring to the material. Arguably their personalities and banter are funny enough that they could coast by with just summarizing the wikipedia articles for their subjects. But I find they usually bring in new detail and insight even to famous scamfluencers that I’ve read all the articles about

  • You didn’t dumb it down. You said rapport!

I love this show. The data and facts speak for themselves, but the quirkiness and obvious passion keeps me coming back. The constant Simpsons quotes are just an added surprise. The only thing that would make it better is if y’all responded with “no. That wasn’t it at all. Just sit down, I’m embarrassed enough for both of us”.
