I liked the first 3 podcasts as a good overview. I hope that future podcasts will be in depth on focussed topics. There are lots of superficial yoga podcasts with people just giving opinions. Lets actually hear some data, and literature review instead of off the top of the head.
Science and yoga are linked and it’s fascinating to hear how evidence is collated for studies. From an all inclusive teaching perspective it’s useful to understand movement science and yoga. Look forward to the next episode..🙏🏽☺️
I’ve been looking for a podcast written for teachers that’s easy to digest, engaging and will help me inject some ideas into my classroom teaching too. I found this insightful and easily accessible and I’m looking forward to tuning in for more!
I am a long time practitioner of yoga, and have been to many different disciplines, and teachers around the world. Some were good, a few were great and Matt is the best. His knowledge of the anatomy, combined with yoga results in a class that is both flowing between challenging, transitional movements with integrity towards the functioning of the body. A true master class. Thank you Matt, I always feel great, energized and thriving after your class.
I really like Matt’s approach - he is super knowledgeable about all things yoga - but he delivers his knowledge in a very clear and accessible way.
He demonstrates how science can develop yogic understanding. Science need not detract from the other elements of yoga practice - it can enhance it.
Matt is a great advocate for thinking critically and not taking unsubstantiated claims at face value, which is so important in our online world :)
