  • What happened to Phelps?

Cutting the distance was one of my favorites, it was a mistake replacing it with in pursuit. Meateater networks have lost my interest.

  • Love the real talk on Fitness.

Thanks for the extensive line up of info. Also to the guy that said “do t want to listen to a fitness podcast”….umm don’t? Pay for your high fence hunt/governor tag and keep killing the exotic cattle. The rest of us will stay primitive.

  • Don’t want to listen

Don’t want to listen to a fitness podcast, was only here for good elk hunting stories and tips from the real hunters that bring home meat to the table, not CrossFit meat heads full of themselves.

  • Ep. 143 - suppressor

You were talking about not being sure if you’re able to take your suppressor to the Yukon and how you can’t take pistols, here in Canada suppressors are fully illegal to own and handguns are only legally allowed to be shot at a licensed gun range. Can’t even shoot them on our own property legally.

  • Five stars for Remi two for the rest

Remi’s podcast made this series, no offense to these guys but i couldn’t get through the fifth podcast after he left, he has his own pod so i recommend switching to that. They messed up losing Remi.

Ep. 45: Jake Dalton - Olympian Turned Bowhunter
Q: What was your favorite event in gymnastics?
Jake says floor was his favorite because of the air awareness and the expression through tumbling.
Ep. 46: Spike Camp - Fueling for the Backcountry
Q: Why would this guided hunt be better than going DIY in the same area?
They argue that even if an area is in someone's backyard, density may be low and a good guide can dramatically increase your odds due to local knowledge, logistics, and access, though top guides book up far in advance.
Ep. 46: Spike Camp - Fueling for the Backcountry
Q: What little sidebar here, what do you guys think are some good questions to vet out some outfitters?
The group suggests asking about how long the outfitter has hunted a specific property, their recent success, and the stability of their guiding operation to gauge reliability and expertise, with an emphasis on talking to people who have worked with them and checking third-party opinions.
Ep. 41: Pete Nelson - The Hidden Benefits of the Sauna
Q: What three tips would you give people to start sauna therapy effectively?
Start with building a supportive, like-minded group to keep you accountable, then focus on a practical, repeatable protocol rather than chasing every data point, and finally prioritize hydration and electrolytes to support the heat exposure and recovery.
