Cutting the distance was one of my favorites, it was a mistake replacing it with in pursuit. Meateater networks have lost my interest.
Thanks for the extensive line up of info. Also to the guy that said “do t want to listen to a fitness podcast”….umm don’t? Pay for your high fence hunt/governor tag and keep killing the exotic cattle. The rest of us will stay primitive.
Don’t want to listen to a fitness podcast, was only here for good elk hunting stories and tips from the real hunters that bring home meat to the table, not CrossFit meat heads full of themselves.
You were talking about not being sure if you’re able to take your suppressor to the Yukon and how you can’t take pistols, here in Canada suppressors are fully illegal to own and handguns are only legally allowed to be shot at a licensed gun range. Can’t even shoot them on our own property legally.
Remi’s podcast made this series, no offense to these guys but i couldn’t get through the fifth podcast after he left, he has his own pod so i recommend switching to that. They messed up losing Remi.

Upbeat, practical conversations centered on fitness, hunting, and backcountry performance. Episodes feature athletes, hunters, doctors, and thought leaders discussing training methods, injury prevention, gear, and mindset for thriving in extreme environments. A recurring thread is resilience—physical, mental, and spiritual—paired with community, mentorship, and family life, making it a valuable resource for listeners aiming to optimize performance in the wild while balancing broader personal goals. A notable edge is the blend of high-performance sport with outdoorsmanship, plus pragmatic prehab, recovery, and gear recommendations that translate to real-world readiness.
