  • Transformation

I used to enjoy this show but the success has produced another elite lib. There are way too many commercials. Show has become out of touch with normal working guy who hunts to put food on the table.

  • Song writing song.

Loved this episode! My favorite part was hearing Steve laughing in the back ground. And his amazement at how the song was being put together. He was narrating what my mind was actively thinking. That was fun to listen to.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 822: Public Lands and Weird Headlines | MeatEater Radio Live!
Q: If there are people listening to this that don't like what's going on in their state, they're frustrated by what they see in their state legislature, what advice would you give?
Educate yourself about what's going on at the state level, at the local level, and then see where you can make an impact.
Ep. 822: Public Lands and Weird Headlines | MeatEater Radio Live!
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about how you came to decide on being a PAC rather than a 501C3?
We think it goes against state law, which says that wildlife is in the possession of the people of Wyoming, not individual property.
Ep. 819: $0 Tax Stamps and Mr. Bear Grease Himself | MeatEater Radio Live!
Q: Looking ahead to 2026, what's new as far as the business or product line?
Expect more products focused on weight, especially Titanium options, and a software rollout for dealers to make the suppressor procuring process easier.
Ep. 819: $0 Tax Stamps and Mr. Bear Grease Himself | MeatEater Radio Live!
Q: What does someone need to know or need to look into as far as figuring out what product they want?
It's recommended to think of the firearm you shoot the most frequently and get a suppressor tailored for that, as it will be more effective and may encourage further purchases later.
Ep. 816: New Year's Resolutions, Mutant Turkeys, and Goodbye (Sort Of) Cal | MeatEater Radio Live!
Q: Phil, for folks who aren't familiar with you, just give us a quick breakdown of your bonafides, and then we'll get into the turkey DNA project you've got going on.
I run a wildlife genetics lab and we do everything from collecting to banding and working with hunters, landowners, and farmers on wildlife questions.
