- Too much politics.
I started listening from episode 1. There has been a lot of changes since then. Mot a fan of the new politic heavy show. If you like that then you’ll like this. Also I don’t like the interview episodes, I skip them every time. Cal has a wealth of knowledge but with his new BHA appointment the fun outdoors stuff has been replaced by “call your representative” rhetoric. I stopped listening when Houndations was taken away. Bring back Houndations!

This is a great podcast, I prefer the news podcasts to the interview podcast but that’s not Cals fault, not everyone is a riveting interviewee.

The show has been trending politically left for some time now. Just give me the conservation news without political commentary, please.
Like it or not, Cal can’t be separated from BHA or the meat eater. I take it. His opinions are the policies of both organizations.
I just don’t understand the thinking from outdoorsmen believing that if they just parrot the talking points that they will be killed last (not literally). Maybe they will be killed last but assuredly they will be killed.
