It is interesting to have the disorders described and compared. I understand that each disorder is broken down into its own traits and examples are given based on that alone. However, as is noted, comorbidities occur and each individual is different. I fear that simplifying the disorders down like this will play into stereotypes. The disorder itself cannot predict how an individual will approach a situation and I hope people do not judge and make assumptions based on the disorder alone.
Thank you for creating The Cluster B Podcast. It has helped me gain so much knowledge about my toxic ex and his toxic partner. I couldn’t seem to wrap my head around their behaviors, communication styles, and actions until I found Cluster B. I am a self help junkie and I have searched and searched for an explanation for the delusions they create. Cluster B makes me realize I am NOT the problem or the “monster” and word for word some episodes are EXACTLY what I am witnessing/living through!!! more
This has helped so much in terms of understanding personality disorders which I find difficult to understand. I had read the symptoms before but this helped me understand the many different ways the symptoms may be lived out.
Succinct and interesting with much useful information
This podcast has been super helpful in understanding the behavior of a loved one. I binged all the episodes on HPD today and loved them! I have been doing research for a little while now trying to understand why this loved one acts the way she does, and learning about HPD is the first thing that really makes sense.
